How do I add a plant?

Tap Add a new plant on the home screen, give it a name, and choose how often it needs watering. That's it!

How do the water drops work?

Each plant shows one drop per day in its watering cycle. The drops fade out one by one as the next watering day approaches, so you can see at a glance how long you have.

When does a plant turn blue?

A plant's card turns blue the moment it's due for watering. Tap Mark as watered (on the card or the plant's detail screen) to reset its countdown.

How do I turn on reminders?

Open Settings from the menu on the home screen, switch on Reminders, allow notifications, and pick the time of day you'd like to be reminded.

Why am I not getting notifications?

Make sure notifications are allowed for Leafly in your iPhone's Settings > Notifications > Leafly, and that Reminders are switched on inside the app with a time selected.

Where is my data stored?

Everything stays on your device. Leafly has no account and no cloud — your plants and settings never leave your phone. See our Privacy Policy.

How do I edit or delete a plant?

Tap a plant on the home screen to open its detail screen. Use Edit to change its name or schedule, or the trash icon to delete it.
